UberMedia is a mobile data location company that help medium and large business make informed business decisions. UberMedia provides the highest quality mobile data solutions trusted by businesses to creatively solve their persistent challenges.
Problem
UberMedia can analyze and measure the effectiveness of mobile ads at driving in-store visits. Problems lay in requesting, managing and visualization reports. The process is too technical and tedious for clients to do on their own and isn't scalable at the companies current size.
The primary goal was to find a way to make requesting and visualization of reports a scalable product and process. Foreshadow alert: this small ask would turn into one of UberMedia's core business offerings.
What did I inherit?
An impossibly complex system filled with technical jargon built by back-end engineers. The system was usable by people who could can write scripts while referencing internal wikis.
All system generated reports required visualization in a 3rd party tools. This required a Data Analyst and a couple hours of work.
The output of this work was incredibly good though. We wont reinvent the wheel!
My Role
Worked as the product manager as well as product designer and UI developer. I was in-charge of the project from beginning-to-end. I took responsibilities of the overall success and failure of the product.
I was also the designer responsibilities for research, design, user testing and defining the look, feel and design system.
